About Me

pic of me

Hi. I'm Jamie Simper, a full-stack developer and recent graduate of the Iron Yard in beautiful Charleston, SC. I have a strong do-it-yourself, hand-crafted mindset and I bring that to my coding. When not coding I can usually be found at home, reading, knitting, and cuddling with cats.

Some of My Work

Salty Paws was created for volunteers who dedicate their time to caring for free-roaming cats. This site, which I co-created with 3 awesome classmates, was my final project for The Iron Yard.

Darth Vader's To-do List is another fun exercise in JavaScript. By just querying the DOM and building HTML strings with JavaScript, then posting them to the DOM, items are added to the to-do list where they can be marked as complete and deleted.
